There is a slim possibility that this application may have been written by someone who knew what they were doing. If, however, your device is in the process of melting, I'm pretty sure it was like that when I got here.
This application started out life as a native android app, and is currently an HTML 5 web app. PhoneGap is pretty immature at the moment and doesn't work on Android Honeycomb yet, but it's getting better so this stuff may make it back onto the app marketplace, or this stuff may just get refactored back into a native app. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I just don't really know what's happening yet.
